Key Areas

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) at the Eureka Learning Center is not just a set of subjects, but a whole world of discovery where children learn to solve real-world problems through experimentation, technology, and creativity. We combine science, technology, engineering and math in exciting projects that inspire children to think outside the box and create with their own hands.

Scratch coding

Imagine: your child creating their first animations, games and interactive stories while playing with a funny kitten named Scratch! Scratch is a unique coding environment that makes learning fun and accessible for even the youngest. Instead of complex code writing, kids use pre-made blocks that can be dragged and combined to bring their character to life. It’s not only fun, but also incredibly rewarding: each step helps develop logical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills.

We closely monitor each student’s progress. Through a personalized approach, our teachers tailor assignments to the child’s level and interests, helping them move forward with comfort and confidence.

And most importantly, learning at Eureka is not like boring lessons at all. Each lesson is a new adventure: from creating simple animations to developing your own game or interactive story.

Minecraft Education

In Minecraft, girls and boys ages 8 and up learn how to create their own worlds, program automatic mechanisms, build complex structures with code, and even design mini-games.

Our classes are structured so that each child can move at their own pace. We start with simple commands and algorithms, and then gradually move on to more complex projects. For example, children learn how to use blocks of code to create automated farms, lighting systems, or even entire cities. All of this happens through visual coding, which is accessible even to beginners.

We also focus on developing soft skills: creativity, critical thinking and the ability to adapt to new conditions. These skills are useful not only in coding, but also in any other sphere of life.

Electronics

The basic electronics course for children based on the BBC micro:bit is designed to introduce students to the basics of electronics and coding. Throughout the course, children will learn how to work with the BBC board, which is an accessible and easy-to-understand tool for exploring and creating various electronic projects.

Electronics basics

Learning about simple electronic components (resistors, capacitors, LEDs, buttons, sensors, etc.), their functions and how they are used. Children will learn how to assemble simple circuits and understand how they work.

Introduction to BBC micro:bit

Familiarization with the board, its features and interface. Learning the basics of coding using block coding (e.g. MakeCode) to create interactive projects.

Creation of projects

Projects using BBC micro:bit. that involve not only coding but also connecting various electronic components to the board. This can include creating musical instruments, games, step counters, electronic pets, etc.

New opportunities

Exploring more complex components and integrating them into designs. This may include motors, additional sensors (temperature, humidity, motion) and wireless communication. Applying the knowledge gained to solve real-world problems.

Classes are conducted in a playful and interactive way, which allows children to learn the basics of electronics and coding with pleasure and interest.

Python coding

The Python course allows students to learn the full range of skills required for coding. Starting with a simple introduction to the structure of the language, the course moves smoothly through more complex topics (loops, classes, working with files). As the course progresses, students write simple programs to reinforce their skills.

The course also immerses teens in the world of competitive coding where they can put their knowledge into practice and develop problem-solving skills.

At the Eureka Center, we offer educational assignments and projects that allow our students to apply learned concepts to real-life situations. By participating in competitions and solving problems, students not only improve their Python skills, but also develop analytical, logical thinking, and teamwork skills.

C++ coding

The C++ coding language is the basis for many modern technologies: from creating video games to developing operating systems and high-performance applications.

In our classes, students learn not only C++ syntax, but also a deep understanding of the principles of algorithms, memory management, and object-oriented coding. We teach how to write efficient and optimized code and create real projects based on it: from simple console applications to complex games and graphical interfaces.

C++ is a language that forms the foundation for future IT careers. It teaches discipline, attentiveness and a deep understanding of how computer programs work. Our students don’t just write code – they think like professional developers.
